Safety, Health and Environmental Business Partner                                           


Due to extensive growth an opportunity for a Safety, Health and Environmental Business Partner has become open to work in a unique cutting edge Manufacturer on a permanent basis, for their advanced Manufacturing site on the coast of Devon. Surrounded by beautiful scenery and golden beaches this is the perfect opportunity for someone looking for good quality of life.

This is a great opportunity for someone to work in one of the worlds most advanced production facilities, working in a unique environment with cutting edge production techniques and craftsmanship.

The successful SHE Business Partner must be qualified to NEBOSH General or NEBOSH Construction. You will be a member of IOSH minimum TechIOSH working towards GradIOSH with demonstrable history of working within a manufacturing/ or similar industry. You must also be Lead auditor trained.

Reporting to the Group Head of Safety, Health and Environmental you will provide guidance and support to the SHE department and undertake the provision of a comprehensive SHE service to the business units, providing guidance and support to the managers on all SHE matters.            

Assisting the promotion, delivery and auditing of SHE policies and programmes in the workplace and ensure business units are legally compliant.

Compilation and review of safety and environmental management systems in line with accredited standards (ISO 14001/ OHSAS18001 & latterly 45001 once aligned and accredited).
Carrying out independent safety and assurance audits in line with an agreed programme and assist business units to comprehensively close out findings of internal and external audits (CA/PA).

As the Safety, Health and Environmental Business Partner you must have accurate and on time Safety, Health & Environmental reports and statistics. Ideally you will have a working knowledge of both ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 standards, but not essential. With strong technical understanding of Safety, Health & Environmental legislation and a ‘can do’ approach to challenges and work ethics.
