They are looking to appoint a Senior Health & Safety Specialist for their commercial headquarters based in West London. Your new role
In your new role as a Senior Health & Safety Specialist you will be responsible for conducting Risk Assessments, supporting sites across EMEA, Asia and Latin America to arrange gap assessments and training as well as leading the risk assessments for the UK offices based in London and the South. You will work alongside the EHS Manager to ensure health & safety is performing, improving company culture and it is inline with compliance. You will also work with the manager to prepare and update EHS policies, complete site emergency management plans, manage the audit programme, take lead of the drivers safety programme and assist on health & safety related queries for projects across the whole business. You will also need to be a good communicator as you will be tasked with creating engaging EHS content for webpages, newsletters and handbooks.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful you will need a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent which equates you to Grad IOSH status. The EHS division is now responsible for managing more of the European sites, so you will be need to be confident of your own skills to be able to manage sites with minimal supervision. You should have experience in health & safety including undertaking risk assessments, managing audits, and developing or updating management systems.
What you'll get in return
In return you will receive a generous salary of £50,000 + 12% bonus (dependent on company and individual performance.)
