We have an exciting opportunity for an accomplished Health and Safety Manager to join a well respected, leading construction and FM group. Our client boasts a portfolio of exciting major projects across the education, leisure and retail sectors. Their business is rapidly expanding and they are therefore able to offer long term career progression alongside a warm and family run environment. Applicants should have a prior background in construction and ideally have worked in a mutli-site role previously.

The Role:

  • Covering up to 10 large scale construction projects, drive Health and Safety performance, deliver Health and Safety training and investigate incidents where required
  • Carry out regular site audits and inspections, following up with full written reports
  • Represent the Health and Safety team in department meetings as well as liaising with key stakeholders including regulators
  • Support implementation of the Health Safety and Environmental strategy, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation

The Candidate: 

  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
  • Extensive Health Safety and Environmental experience in the construction sector 
  • Demonstrable experience of OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 
  • Personable, dynamic, strong approach on site
