Health and Safety Manager - Construction
A fantastic opportunity for a competent up and coming Health and Safety Manager to join a privately owned award-winning construction company and help them with their continuous programme of driving a positive safety culture across a major build project in Oxford.
Essentially, your Health and Safety background must demonstrate previous experience working across build projects £10m - £100m+ with a major contractor.
You will need to show a solid CV and ideally you will have a minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role. Your CV must highlight your knowledge across the latest Health and Safety Legislation and implementation of Behavioural Change programmes.
Working closely with the project team you will be a point of contact, responsible for accident investigation, risk assessments, Method statements, SHEQ inspections and audits, contractor working practices.
This role requires an effective communicator with strong engaging skills and the ability to see the bigger picture.
Reporting to the Head of Health and Safety you will need to hold a minimum of a Nebosh Construction Certificate or NCRQ equivalent and have already achieved TechIOSH status. Preferably working towards CMIOSH.
