Do you want to be a part of an industry leading Health and Fire Safety team?

The role will encompass high levels of collaborative working with LIFT Companies and CHP Tenants to verify and review existing safety arrangement including as a priority fire safety documentation and associated procedures.

To effectively manage and deliver a regional programme of Fire Risk Assessments (FRA) and Health and Safety Statutory Compliance Audits. To include developing associated recommendation reports and management plans for the regional estate portfolio for buildings of varying complexity levels.

To lead safety within the region to protect the business interests, assets and well-being of Community Health Partnerships (CHP), its employees, tenants, visitors and the public from harm and risk to their health, safety and welfare.

The role will also require close support and administration of the FRA action plans to ensure that all areas have been completed within the timeline identified and to offer support to Centre Management Team members and tenants to apply any remedial measures as necessary.

The role will require flexibility to travel to all CHP Regional sites and provide support to other regions as required.

Responsibilities of the Regional Health and Fire Safety Advisor include:

  • To effectively manage deliver a regional programme Fire Risk Assessments (FRA) Health Safety Statutory Compliance Audits. To include developing associated recommendation reports management plans the regional estate portfolio buildings varying complexity levels.
  • Offering expert health and fire safety advice to staff at all levels, including external stakeholders
  • To support Property Centre Management Team members incident response, investigation matters arising from safety issues.
  • Producing performance reports, incident and investigation reports and other safety related documentation in a concise and timely manner
  • Involvement in new and refurbishment projects and other safety related company initiatives

To be considered for this opportunity you must have:

  • NEBOSH General Certificate or 
  • NEBOSH Fire Certificate or equivalent
  • A minimum of 3 years in a similar post
  • Previous experience of working in a multi-site role
  • Hold a full, clean UK driving licence
  • Experience of managing accident reporting, including accident investigation
  • Ideally a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent and a commitment to CPD
