To be considered for the Environmental, Health and Safety Manager opportunity you must hold the NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent with demonstrable experience of Environmental, Health and Safety Management in a complex, diverse organisation with the ability to understand and overcome organisational differences.

It would be advantageous to have a chemical/scientific degree or experience within a chemical working environment and you must have experience of working within a manufacturing/R&D or engineering environment. With demonstrable experience of leading a behavioural safety culture.

As the Environmental, Health and Safety Manager you will develop, maintain and implement EHS policies, procedures and guidelines at the site/discipline in line with business needs that supports the overall EHS strategic goals.

Lead the development of the EHS Improvement Plan and co-ordinate activities required to achieve it, assisting where necessary in the investigation, monitoring and reporting of accident, incident, dangerous occurrences & injury and prepare reports for management and the HSE.

Responsible for maintaining and managing conditions and requirements set out in site environmental permits. Whilst collaborating with and advising relevant departments to support Process Safety.
