Business Unit SHE Manager

A Principal Contractor who work on major, high-profile commercial construction projects is currently seeking a Health and Safety Manager to head up one of its largest Business Units. Based from the West Midlands the successful individual will take responsibility for managing a team of 3, overseeing multi-million pound projects and driving health and safety strategy.

The Role:

• Directly manage a team of 3 SHE Officers - take responsibility for their development and support them with any technical questions
• Provide support pre-construction with PQQs, bids and tenders
• Oversea multi-million pound construction projects in the commercial, education, retail and hospitality sectors 
• Drive and influence Health and Safety strategy

The Candidate:

• Proven track record working for a main contractor on major construction projects 
• CMIOSH
• Dynamic and engaging, prior experience directly managing a team
• Full UK driving license
