Head of Health & Safety

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing, multi-disciplinary construction consultancy as their Head of Health & Safety. Managing an existing team of 9 consultants you will be responsible for the strategic planning and direction of this already successful team. Working directly with existing clients but also building new relationships with clients and developing the service offering that this company currently provides. The company currently employs 300 staff, across 6 offices but is expanding and this role will play a pivotal role in this expansion.

The role:

• Maintain regular contact with all Clients and develop relationships with lapsed and new clients
Obtain and allocate project work to staff and themselvesReport financial information to the businessDevelop the business commercially and procedurallyEngage with the business and execute a plan for managing the internal Health & Safety in particular compliance with OHSAS 180001 and transition to ISO 450001
