Senior H&S Advisor

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Health & Safety Advisor to join a specialist civil engineering & rail company to work across a variety of projects across London and South East and be responsible for mentoring and developing a H&S Advisor within the team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working on civil engineering or rail projects and be happy to be based out of the head office in Kent when required.

The Role:

• Promote and lead on behavioural safety and best practices 

• Responsible for the promotion and development of a safety first culture across the business 

• Lead on audits and accident investigations when required 

• Work alongside the H&S Lead on developing and implementation of ISO Management Systems 

The Candidate:

• 5+ years’ experience working in Health & Safety

• Previous experience work on rail projects would be a distinct advantage but would consider heavy civil engineering experience 

• NEBOSH General Certificate or NEBOSH Construction Certificate 

• Tech IOSH 

• PTS Card would be desired but isn't essential
