EHS Officer

A manufacturing organisation based in Wigan are looking for an EHS officer on a permanent basis

Your new company
A manufacturing organisation that supply their products to a range of business sectors. The business is going from strength to strength. This particular company really do care for their workforce and have a full well being program including an onsite fitness centre.

Your new role
As EHS officer you will be responsible for supporting the EHS manager in driving safety standards forward. Everyone at site takes H&S seriously right through to the MD. You will be visible on site offering support, guidance and advice. You will carry out risk assessments, tool box talks, training, audits and compliance and more. You will be partly responsible for the culture surrounding H&S and will therefore need to be confident yet approachable.

What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally be working for a manufacturing organisation and will have around 5 years of experience in a safety role. You will have a NEBOSH general (or equivalent. You will be a personable character and will be someone who wants to engage with the workforce.
