H&S Advisor (Consultancy)
A growing H&S consultancy in North West are looking to add to the team due to numerous contract wins.
Your new company
A growing consultancy are looking to increase their staffing levels due to a number of contract wins. Positions are available on a permanent basis, The company have clients across the country and are growing to become one of the 'go-to' consultancies.
Your new role
In your new role you will be supporting, advising and overseeing H&S requirements to ensure best practice is adhered to and regulations are met. This role will require frequent travel in order to support your sites. Each day will be varied but will include advise in a number of specialist areas including machinery compliance and safety, CDM regs, hazardous substance, noise etc. You will also be required to design and deliver bespoke training for clients in any areas you highlight need support.
- Undertake and continually review risk assessments, ensuring working practices are safe and comply with legislation.
- Advise on a range of specialist areas, including fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise, safeguarding machinery and CDM2015
- Design and deliver bespoke H&S advice, support and guidance as and when required
- Undertake machine compliance processes
- Carry out machine safety audits
What you'll need to succeed
You will be qualified ideally to NEBOSH Diploma and NEBOSH Construction. You will have experience in managing CDM projects ensuring compliance to the legal requirements. You will have good attention to detail, good varied background and will be a person who can go above and beyond in creating a safer environment. As this will be a client facing role you will need to have a can-do attitude and excellent communication skills.
Whilst the main base is in Cheshire you will be prepared to work in any part of the UK which could include overnight stays.
