I'm currently working a family run H&S consultancy who are looking for a number of contractors to work on broad range of projects.
H&S Advisor - site locations (including CDM):
· Outline safe operational procedures which identify and consider all relevant hazards on site, ensuring contractors on site have been inducted.
· Undertake and continually review risk assessments, ensuring working practices are safe and comply with legislation.
· Advise on a range of specialist areas, including fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise, safeguarding machinery, CDM2015 and occupational disease.
· Carry out site audits and communicate to relevant parties as required.
H&S support:
· Advise on a range of specialist areas, including fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise, safeguarding machinery, CDM2015 and occupational disease.
· Design and deliver bespoke H&S advice, support and guidance as and when required
Machine compliance & safety (CE markings and PUWER):
· Undertake machine compliance processes
· Carry out machine safety audits
H&S training:
· Consult and understand training requirements
· Design and deliver bespoke training
GENERAL
· Provide regular updates on activity and progress, ensuring client requests, concerns and risks are escalated to the Operations & Service Delivery Manager immediately, overseeing the resolution of problems on site as required.
· Produce management reports on a regular basis as determined by the Operations & Service Delivery Manager.
· Inform initiatives to improve operational processes to enhance the customer experience and drive business reputation.
· Engage in individual and team meetings/ activities as required to support performance and development.
· Ensure up to date knowledge of Health & Safety Executive (HSE) legislation and awareness of developments and new legislation that will affect the industry.
· Carry out any other duties as reasonably required within the role.
