Health and Safety Manager - Construction
A fantastic opportunity for a Health and Safety Manager to join a privately owned award-winning construction company and support them with driving a positive safety culture across projects in their Midlands and Northern sites. Ideally based Stoke, Staffordshire, Birmingham.
Essentially candidate must have multi-site Health and Safety experience working across construction projects, industrial build, fit-out refurbishments or interiors projects.
Essentially you will have a minimum 5 years’ experience and your CV must highlight your knowledge across the latest Health and Safety Legislation. Experience required across temporary works, tower cranes, scaffolding, working at height.
Working closely with the project team you will be a point of contact, responsible for accident investigation, risk assessments, method statements, SHEQ inspections and audits, contractor working practices.
This role requires an effective communicator with strong engaging skills and the ability to see the bigger picture. Woking as part of the H&S team, this role is autonomous and you will need to be a self-starter, who remains focused on multiple tasks and adept at time management.
Reporting to the Regional Head of Health and Safety you will need to hold a minimum of a Nebosh General or NCRQ equivalent and ideally achieved or working TechIOSH status.
