HSEQ Manager role at a large Manufacturing and Distribution company, based in Enfield, £45K

Your new company
Our client is a large Manufacturing and Distribution company with plants and depots all over the UK. They are currently recruiting for a HSEQ Manager.

Your new role
Working for an established distribution/manufacturing company you will have general responsibility for Managing Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental systems and procedures, ensuring compliance with legislation, company policies and 3rd party certification as appropriate across 5 depots.

Main duties will include: Manage the QHSE team to achieve control, monitoring and implementation of QHSE systems and operating standards. Maintain a GANTT/risk register, reviewing QHSE risks and escalating where appropriate Support the training and development of all staff to ensure awareness and understanding of QHSE Standards and the relevance to business objectives. Provide business focus for accident and incident reporting and assist with subsequent investigation process; provide trend analysis to Managing Director to support and provide focus for driving positive behaviours and culture change within the business. Develop and maintain Quality and Environmental Management systems; implement and audit to achieve compliance with new ISO 9001, 14001 standards (2015). Ensure appropriate resources are provided to support a compliant business and to identify any systemic weaknesses to processes. Working with the production team to reduce quality complaints, remakes and waste. Designing and carrying out the ongoing internal audit program in line with the requirements of the QMS/EMS. Development and maintenance of the H&S Management System to meet all legislative, regulatory and business requirements. Prepares and maintains required HSE records and reports.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience in HSEQ within similar roles, NEBOSH General Certificate (Diploma would be a plus) and ideally experience within Manufacturing, Logistics or Distribution.
