Job Summary
Join one of the top global engineering consultancies looking to strengthen their Manchester Health & Safety team through the appointment, be the main client contact, prepare bids and proposals and assist with the management of the H&S Services Team.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the role of Principal Designer under the CDM Regulations
- Providing Health & Safety consultancy services to clients
- Ensuring QA and Health and Safety Responsibilities are discharged
- Management of the wider safety team - Line management of staff at various levels
Key Requirements:
- Prepare fee proposals, review terms of engagement and associated risks
- Expert knowledge of the role of Principal Designer and of Health and Safety legislation within construction
- NEBOSH General Certificate / Construction Certificate
- Membership of Association for Project Safety / GradIOSH / CMIOSH
