Health Safety & Environment Manager

Acre has been engaged by a world leading high technology group, operating within the aerospace market to introduce a Health Safety & Environment Manager.

Based at their facility in Gloucestershire, this is a large-scale manufacturing operation consisting of machine shops, a laboratory and special process functions, offering a diverse and highly technical environment.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a highly successful global business and team.

Responsibilities will include:

• Management and development of existing HSE team.
• Driving change within the HSE function, reporting into the senior leadership team on a regular basis.
• Develop, maintain and improve management systems.

If you are in a similar position currently or as a Supervisor or Advisor with experience of working within these types of environments, Acre would be very interested to hear from you.

In addition, the successful candidate will have:

• Strong and effective communication skills.
• Experienced leading and managing teams.
• Manufacturing experience within either - Aerospace (preferable), Chemical, Precision Engineering or Automotive sectors.
• NEBOSH diploma or qualified
