Your new company
Hays Health & Safety have exclusively partnered with a reputable registered housing association & charity based across London and the South. This registered housing association and charity provide accommodation and support services for a range of people. They have properties based mainly across the London region but also across into the South and South West of England. They have a central Health & Safety lead by a Head of Health & Safety who provide expert advice and support in regards to the management of health & safety across the whole organisation.

Your new role
Working in the Central Safety team, his brand new role will be responsible for the development of monitoring and reporting systems, leading on lone-working schemes, compliance and preparing health & safety reports for committee and board meetings. You will also be managing the health & safety team inbox answering queries and giving advice where needed. This is a progressive role which will include some administration duties as well but will develop with time into a fully fledged health & safety role.

What you'll need to succeed
My client is looking for a proactive person who is keen to learn and develop in the health & safety field. The ability to plan and coordinate work, collate and analyse data, influence people and build strong and positive relationships are all key desirable's for this role. If you have knowledge of health & safety and safety management processes this will also be highly advantageous. You will also need to have a high attention to detail. This role would ideally suit someone who has just graduated from university, or who is completing or just completed the NEBOSH Certificate who would like to progress and develop in health & safety.

What you'll get in return
In return you will receive a generous starting salary of £28,000 rising to £32,000 with yearly pay increases. You will also have a highly comprehensive flexible working plan in addition to 25 days annual leave (+BH) and options to increase homeworking from 2020.
