A global services business are keen to add a pro-active Lead Health & Safety Advisor to their team (Wimborne).

Your new company

My client are a leading global technology and services innovator who I am pleased to represent again, having placed a Health and Safety Manager with them in the past. They are respected in their field for providing specialist solutions to the most challenging problems, from the depths of the ocean to deep space.

The company have a number of divisions. As Lead Health and Safety Advisor, you will join an expert team who design and manufacture the most capable critical control solutions for extreme environments. The business are one of the world's leading suppliers of critical control solutions, helping their customers to increase the safety and mission capabilities of their personnel and equipment in extreme environments.

Your new role

You will report to a Senior SHE Manager with no direct reports, but responsibility for Health and Safety across all departments at their Wimborne site. This is predominantly a single site role, but may require travel on rare occasions.

Role purpose:

Proactively support the site leadership team and the Senior SHE Lead in implementing SHE processes and delivering the SHE strategy and rationale for action. You will display a proven ability to deliver results through people, gaining commitment from both management and employees to facilitate improvements.

What you'll need to succeed

This opportunity will suit a driven candidate who is keen to develop their Health and Safety career, within a pioneering business at the forefront of the manufacturing industry.

You must hold a NEBOSH General Certificate or be a Technical Member of IOSH, with some knowledge of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The client are flexible on whether this be aviation, automotive, food, production, engineering etc.

The company also offer good training and support for you to develop both your qualifications and knowledge in future.
