Group Head of Health & Safety
Large Housing Association have a interim role for a Group Head of Health and Safety.
The main purpose of the role is to provide strategic H&S direction and advice ensuring safe and robust systems of working across all areas of the organisation. You will have 4 direct reports - 3 Risk Management officers and 1 administrative support.
Provide Strategic advice at Board Level on H&S, fire, construction and employment
Ensure there are effective H&S management systems in place
Build effective partnerships with contractors, service professionals and the Fire brigade
Owns the company's risk management framework and insurance policies
Effective resource management - £300k budget
Empowers and develops the team
NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent qualification
Experience of Managing and delivering Heath and Safety Housing Service
Knowledge and understanding of legal framework relating to CDM, Fire Safety, asbestos and Legionella
Ability to deliver continuous improvement to a diverse community
Ability to make clear decisions on complex issues
A excellent communicator who can engage, motivate and develop people
Project and Budget management experience
What you'll get in return
This role is offered on an interim basis for a 3-6 month period. It will be a day rate that is inside of IR35
so Umbrella or PAYE are the pay options.
