PD/CDM Advisor

Our client is a multi-discipline construction consultancy based near Reading. They are looking to grow their team further by recruiting a CDM Advisor/Principal Designer. 80% of their work is with major house builders on large volume house building projects. Although the projects are not often complex in their design there is complexity in the way the projects are managed, often by multiple developers. The company are looking for someone who is looking to progress their career and they are committed to enabling this through fully supporting any additional qualifications. They are not a company who micro-manages their staff, but support them in achieving a work/life balance.

The role:

• Acting as CDM Advisor/Principal Designer on various projects
• Attending design and project meetings
• Building relationships with all involved in the project
• Carrying out site inspections and site audits when required

The candidate:

• Ideally a construction/design related degree
• 2 - 3 years experience in being a CDM Advisor/Principal Designer
• NEBOSH Construction Certificate
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with clients
