Health, Safety & Environment Manager

Following a recent acquisition, we have an exciting opportunity for a Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to join a forward thinking organisation. With state-of-the-art facilities and a significant international presence, in the manufacturing and distribution sector. As the Health, Safety and Environment Manager you will be responsible for enforcing legislation and regulations in the area of Health, Safety and Environment on site and for providing specialist advice and support to Health & Safety specialists on other sites within the group.

 You will have proven experience of behavioural and cultural change within a similar working environment. With at least 5 years’ experience in a Health & Safety role in a manufacturing environment. You must hold a minimum NEBOSH diploma or Level 5 equivalent with membership of IOSH minimum graduate level or same level member of equivalent body. FPA Fire Safety qualification or equivalent.

With the ability to communicate and engage effectively across all levels including operators, directors and other key stakeholders. You will lead and enhance progressive and positive change in a passionate and motivational manner. Providing constructive and useful feedback in order to continually improve Health & Safety across all sites.
