An EHS Coordinator to join a respected independent producer of chilled dairy products (Shaftesbury)

My client are a widely respected independent producer of chilled food products, supplying to major retailers across the UK. Established over 60 years ago, this award-winning company are a family-run business in their 3rd generation.

My client produce a range of specialty products including yoghurts, soft cheeses and clotted cream, growing into one of the most respected and successful independent dairies in the South West of England.

Your new role

Reporting to the Technical Manager, this is a part-time opportunity to work between 24-30 hours/week over 4 days (Monday-Friday). The business are willing to be flexible on start/finish times for the right person as the site operates 24/7.

PLEASE NOTE: The company would prefer 24-30 hours over 4 days/week, but would consider these hours over 3 days/week for the right person.

Purpose of the role:

To manage the Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) aspects of the company through the internal Environmental and Health & Safety Management Systems, liaising with regulatory authorities, contractors, suppliers and other stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed

You must hold a NEBOSH General Certificate or be a Technical Member of IOSH. The ideal candidate will have some knowledge of OHSAS 18001 and have worked in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, but the company are flexible on industry background.

What you'll get in return

You will receive a pro-rata'd salary of £16,800-£21,000 over 4 days/week (between 24-30 hours/week). 25 days holiday + BH's (pro-rata'd to 4 days/week), pension, sick pay and generous company discounts.
