Health & Safety Manager

Role is based South of Croydon and looks after Health & Safety mainly but also covering CDM on client sites and Facilities of own site.  You will need to have easy access to the company site with a reasonable commute to comply with the firms work life balance initiatives

They are a growing service delivery and engineering company who have a number of field-based engineers along with a established client base.  You will be tasked with monitoring and developing the already in place management systems notably 9001 /14001 / 18001 coupled liaising with clients on bigger projects involving CDM work.

In this role, you will provide expert advice and guidance and training on all Health & Safety and facilities issues on their main site in Croydon. 

You will be responsible for hands on duties such as carrying out site inductions and inspections, risk assessments, accident and incident investigations. You will monitor H&S on client sites, producing reports in line with organisation standards.  Backed, supported and working within a team you will be able to develop and supported in additional qualification  

Candidates will hold the NEBOSH Cert (or equivalent) as a minimum Health & Safety qualification and have previous experience in a safety/auditing preferably in an engineering field.  Experience of managing field-based engineers’ safety and work within a head office base also preferential. 

Applicants with experience in manufacturing, engineering, facilities environments will be of most interest.
