Senior Construction Health & Safety Advisor

Senior Construction HSE Advisor, for a large PC with projects in the London area. Salary up to £50K

Our client a top tier Construction Principal Contractor, operating in a variety of sectors. In order to grow their team in London, they are currently recruiting for a Senior HSEQ Advisor.

Your new role
Reporting directly to the HSEQ Director, your duties on daily basis will include to provide support and guidance on SHEQ matters throughout the business, to ensure that an audit and mentoring regime is devised, implemented and effectively provides the focus for verification of SHEQ policies, to conduct Internal Audits, assessments and inspections to verify effective implementation and conformance to legislation, standards and IMS with its policies, processes and procedures, to maintain the company's ISO9001, ISO14001, OHSAS18001, to influence at all levels and develop relationships to develop a positive SHEQ culture within the business.

You will work on different projects, mainly residential new build and refurbishment, in the London area.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will have a minimum of NEBOSH Certificate and/or Diploma or equivalent, and ideally a Tech or Graduate Membership of IOSH. You will have also a previous experience in a similar role within a large company operating within the Construction industry, ideally in the Residential sector.
