HSE Advisor

A regional HSE Advisor to join one of the leading FM providers in the UK, based in Eastleigh / Portsmouth.

The company are one of the largest providers of facilities management services in the UK, boasting a vast portfolio of clients across industries including: construction, aviation, defence, utilities and finance.

Your new role

As HSE Advisor, you will enjoy an autonomous, mobile role covering between 20-30 sites (maximum) to the south of the M40. The role is approximately 30% office based vs 70% site/location, with regular travel throughout the south. Ideally this position will be based in Eastleigh as a central point, but my client are flexible as to whether you are based in out of their Portsmouth or Waterloo offices (London).

Working hours: 40/week, Monday-Friday (8am-5pm).

Main purpose of the role:

To provide Health & Safety support to operational sites within the south and promote well-being. Assist allocated sites so they can assist in the discharging of HSE responsibilities and to provide compatible HSE activities & solutions in line with local requirements.

What you'll need to succeed

This position will suit a versatile person with a positive approach to health and safety, who has worked in a multi-site role (ideally with different clients).

You must have:

• Previous experience within a Health & Safety role specifically project /construction experience.
• Some knowledge of CDM 2015 and Temporary Works
• A NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate
• Technical Membership of IOSH or above
• Auditor trained
• Knowledge of ISO systems and their implementation
