Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Occupational Health and Safety Management

We are looking to make two new appointments to complement the current team supporting the delivery of our portfolio of occupational health and safety, environmental management, environmental health and public health awards at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.   This is a full time, permanent position based at University’s Hendon Campus in North London and the appointment will be made at either Lecturer or Senior Lecturer level, depending on qualifications and experience.

We are looking for applicants with, or eligibility to gain, professional body status, relevant qualifications and a strong professional or research track record, focused on occupational health and safety together with either environmental management or well-being management. You will also be someone who is committed to promoting the development of the next generation of professionals through the provision of high-quality teaching.   The successful candidate is expected to make a positive contribution to our academic provision through teaching, engagement in research and professional practice.

The role is based in the Department of Natural Sciences, which delivers high quality teaching, research and consultancy across a range of professional and academic programmes. The focus of the department is on the application of knowledge to practice, and practice to student learning underpinned by evidence and research.

Middlesex University works towards equality of opportunity. Applications from under-represented sections of the community are welcomed.
