Role Purpose
The post holder will be responsible for carrying out all Environmental Health functions out of hours - this will be reactive and proactive noise responses, event management, reviewing licensed premises and undertaking food inspections.
This is a new service that will cover all Environmental Health issues that need to be addressed outside normal working hours. The Team will work a variety of shifts to cover hours from 11 am Thursday to 6am Monday.
The post holder will liaise with internal and external parties to ensure that a holistic approach is taken with regards to Environmental Health within its broadest sense across all work programmes.
The post holder will also attract an additional 14% shift allowance.
The posts are originally fixed term until 31/2/20.
Key Responsibilities
To deliver on the agreed service level agreements with external/internal parties and to deliver on those agreed action plans.
Requirements
The successful individual will be an Environmental Health Practitioner registered with in Chartered Institute of Environmental (or equivalent) and have extensive experience across Environmental Health.
