Asbestos Lab Analyst

A well-established and ambitious Asbestos and Health & Safety Consultancy is looking for an Asbestos Lab Analyst to join their growing business. As a UKAS accredited organisation, this organisation has a wealthy experience and technical knowledge working with small companies to multinational organisations.

YOUR NEW ROLE
This role is based in Northampton and will be reporting directly to the Project & Compliance Manager. You will be responsible for:

• Analysis of bulks with all record keeping associated with this function and in full compliance with quality control requirements.
• Assist in maintaining validation, testing and calibration schedules for the laboratory tests and key pieces of equipment.
• To support the administrative function of the Laboratory under the supervision of the Project & Compliance Manager ensuring all records are maintained and updated as required. This will include, spread sheets, word documents, certificates and purchase orders as required.
• Communication with consultants, operations and reporting to ensure delivery of service to clients.

WHAT YOU'LL GET IN RETURN
You be offered a salary of £18,000 to £20,000 + benefits.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
To be considered for this position you must have a P401 (or working towards), excellent general education and admin/IT skills and technical understanding and knowledge of laboratory health and safety procedures including COSHH.
