Tilhill Forestry has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Safety Professional to lead our award winning Safety & Assurance team. This is a nationwide role covering the whole country reporting directly to the Managing Director.
Tilhill Forestry is the UK’s leading forest management and timber harvesting company with offices throughout mainland Britain. This position will be based at one of these offices.
This role involves overseeing all aspects of Safety, Environment and Quality management and, in particular, leading the development of our safety practices and procedures and to ensure full communication and implementation across the business. The role also requires active participation in driving forward the Forest Industry Safety Accord, the official safety organisation for the forest industry.
The ideal candidate should be a strong team player and a Chartered member of IOSH. He/she will lead the Safety & Assurance team who provide H&S, Quality and Environmental management support across the UK for all aspects of the Company’s operations.
