Compliance Manager

YOUR NEW COMPANY
A leading Property Developer & Management organisation is looking for a Compliance Manager to join their team and to support the business nationally. My client delivers high quality services and has been awarded several times as the Property Manager of the Year, offering a great opportunity to work for one of the most prestigious Property Management organisations in the UK.

YOUR NEW ROLE
To act as a lead and focus for health, safety & data protection and be responsible for initiating responses to all enquiries by employees, clients, tenants, contractors and visitors throughout the organisation. Reporting directly to the Head of Compliance you will be responsible for:

• Developing strong relationships with operational managers and senior management within the organisation and communicate changes to policies and procedures
• Being a central point of contract for all operation employees in relation to health, safety & data protection support
• Developing relevant health, safety & data protection information and circulate across the Company and ensure that procedures are reviewed periodically and amended where necessary
• Assisting the Head of Compliance in the development and implementation of the organisation's Safety Management System and Data Protection Policy and Procedures
• Developing and implementing Risk Assessments & Method Statements (RAMS) within the business
• Making sure Fire Risk Assessments are completed
• Auditing and managing approved contractors to ensure adequate health and safety is being adhered to in accordance with the supplied Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMS), company policy and best practice
• Ensuring accidents and incidents are properly recorded and, where necessary, participate with Line Management in accident investigation
• Deputise for the Head of Compliance, as required

WHAT YOU'LL GET IN RETURN
You'll be offered a salary ranging from £40k to £45k plus benefits.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
To be considered for this position you must have a NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) as a minimum and relevant H&S experience within M&E, Construction, FM or Property Management sectors.
