This is a new and important role providing support to the Estate management team to ensure that high standards of health and safety compliance are achieved throughout the business. The job holder will help ensure that effective processes are implemented and maintained and to deliver continuous improvement by way of a Plan, Do, Check, Act cycle.

The duties will include:

  • Ensuring effective compliance with the Estate’s health & safety policies and procedures.
  • Supporting the management team by maintaining and developing the health and safety management system, including electronic and paper records, ensuring high standards of document control so that information is accurate, up-to-date and user friendly.
  • Providing support to heads of department and Estate staff.
  • Working closely with the Estate’s health and safety consultants.

The successful candidate will be a good team player with previous health & safety experience and qualifications (IOSH) preferable.

This is a fixed term contract of 24 months – 25 hours per week
