We are working with an East Midlands University to recruit a Health and Safety Business Partner to join a newly restructured team. Reporting to the Director of Health & Safety, you will be required to act as the organisation's competent person for projects and planning of the extensive building and refurbishment that is taking place.

  The Role:
  •  Ensure the H&S strategy is implemented and maintained across any ongoing projects
  •  Maintain good relationships with all stakeholders
  •  Responsible for monitoring contractor performance
  •  Develop and scrutinise Pre Construction Phase plans
    • The Candidate:
  • Essential that the candidate is CMIOSH
  • A thorough knowledge of the CDM regulations and associated legislation.
  • Proven experience in multi million pound projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
