Health and Safety Manager

Shirley Parsons is pleased to have partnered with a leading construction and utilities group who operate across the UK and Europe. They are currently working on a number of regeneration projects with a construction and M&E focus and are therefore looking to add two Health and Safety Manager's to the business. One of these roles is based permanently in Leeds whilst the other will be based from either Birmingham or Edinburgh - the successful individual will be required to spend their time between the two locations. 

The Role:

• Implement a strong Health and Safety culture across projects, ensuring that company standards and objectives are hit
• Support site teams with Health and Safety training, driving continuous improvement of Health and Safety performance across projects
• Carry out monthly site inspections and audits, reporting back on this
• Support with PQQs and tenders 

The Candidate:

• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent NCRQ or NVQ 
• Proven track record of working in the construction industry in a  Health and Safety role 
• Full UK Driving License
• Happy to commute to Leeds, Birmingham or Edinburgh on regular basis
