Senior Health and Safety Manager

An opportunity has arisen for a Health & Safety Manager to join a global construction and civil engineering company working on a large infrastructure framework across the North East region. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in health and safety, managing a team of safety professionals on major projects worth £50m+.

The Role:

• Set and roll-out a SHE Strategy across client, employee, and supply chain
• Lead a team of Project SHE Managers to ensure safety compliance across projects
• Set standards and lead by example in the management of SHE
• Collaborate operationally with the rest of the framework

The Candidate:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience working in Health & Safety, ideally in a civil engineering environment
• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent minimum 
• CMIOSH
• Previous experience working managing a team and major projects
• Enthusiastic professional who is always looking to grow and progress in their SHE career
