HSE Manager - Home Based - extensive office network nationally, autonomous role which will have national coverage so travel across the UK (expected 1-2 overnight stays per week)

About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity for an Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to join an enthusiastic team, supporting the HSEQ Department with the UK.

We need a dynamic HSE Manager to support our Environment and Safety, and lead on HS&E within this sector. The role is a hands on application and strategic input with the HSEQ Director.

The role will be home based and will cover various regions within the UK. The working week will consist of 39 hours and flexibility will be required from the candidate to suit the needs of the business.

Responsibilities include:
Day to day management of HS&E
Accident investigation
Managing upwards and ensuring HS&E is the priority in the sector
Reporting back to the Operations Director on a regular basis, completing audits and reports

About you:
Looking for a professional, dynamic and motivated individual with ability to work alone and as part of a team. Communicative, organised, flexible and committed and you must have a can-do attitude. You must also have:
NEBOSH General Certificate or Construction Certificate (essential)
NEBOSH Diploma / NVQ L6 in OHAS (desired)
(Grad or Chartered Membership of IOSH (desired)
The ability to Manage HS&E within a very busy sector (essential)
Be willing to learn from others and share your knowledge in a way that all understand
The drive to improve HS&E in the sector and improve and develop your own personal Skills and Knowledge
