Health and Safety Advisor
Scottish Rugby is the governing body for rugby union in Scotland. Our role is to grow the game and inspire Scotland through rugby in line with our values of respect, leadership, achievement, engagement and enjoyment.
The Health and Safety team forms part of the Group Stadium Operations department, responsible for promoting a positive health and safety culture across Scottish Rugby. The team covers the safety of all Scottish Rugby employees as well as those visiting for a match day experience.
This new Health and Safety Advisor role is key to developing positive working practices, ensuring all health and safety risks, including occupational health, are identified and managed. This role is responsible for ensuring that different areas of the business are up to date with legislation, proactively delivering solutions and risk assessments.
You’ll work in an active environment, where all ideas are welcome. To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have strong communication and collaboration skills as it is your role to proactively encourage Scottish Rugby employees to adhere with legislation. Applicants must have a valid and up to date NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.
