Health and Safety/CDM Consultant

A South London Housing Association is looking for a H&S Consultant to join their team on an initial 5 month contract. The role will sit within their Property Services Division, but you will be covering the built environment. You will be overseeing a number of maintenance and refurbishment projects and poses a strong understanding of CDM regulations. This role is within IR35.

The role:

• Providing Health and Safety support to the Property Services Directorate
• Carry out visual inspections
• Identifying any hazards/maintenance & repair issues within residential properties
• Overseeing Health, Safety and Compliance policies & procedures
• Carry out Risk Assessments
• Working with Contract Managers to advise on all matters regarding Health, Safety, Compliance and CDM
• Provide Health and Safety progress reports for the Client

The Candidate:

• NEBOSH General is essential
• Relevant CDM qualification is desirable
• Experience within Social Housing is essential
• Must have a strong understanding of CDM regulations
• Good knowledge of Facilities Management including hard and soft services
• Experience in Construction projects & H&S Construction advice
