CDM/Principal Designer - Preston

A privately owned construction consultancy, set up 25 years ago to improve the services that are delivered to clients under the CDM regulations. Joining a team of 12 you will be surrounded by true experts in CDM and the Principal Designer function who believe in "doing the job properly". They offer variety in terms of projects across a range of sectors including housing, education, commercial, aerospace and nuclear.

The role:-

• Carry out the role of Principal Designer
• Managing a range of projects, all which will have different levels of complexity to them. Engaging with the client to develop a first class service
• Working on projects from design stage, and advising under the CDM regulations 2015
• Attending design and project meetings, influencing the team in a constructive way

The candidate:-

• NEBOSH Construction Certificate
• NEBOSH General Certificate
• Membership to the APS
• Strong construction background
• Must have experience using BIM and interrogating design drawings 
• Excellent communication, influencing and client development skills
