Job Details

A highly successful residential developer is looking for a Head of Health and Safety to join their business and lead one of their thriving divisions. This role offers a variety of responsibilities at both an operational and strategic level and would suit candidates who have prior experience operating at a senior level within Health and Safety.

The Role:

  • Looking after and being responsible for the leadership and monitoring of Health and Safety
  • Building business strategy and gaining buy-in from the senior leadership team
  • Manage and lead a team of Health and Safety professionals
  • Liaising with leaders of other businesses within the group to oversee the safety management systems
  • Covering a variety of major projects at different stages, including high-rise, RC frame and steel frame erection, fit-out
  • Working closely with Directors
  • The Candidate:

  • Extensive experience in a health and safety role in a construction discipline
  • GradIOSH status as a minimum, ideally CMIOSH
  • Candidates must be good at building relationships and communicating with stakeholders at multiple levels in a business
