Acre is delighted to be working exclusively with a prestigious and highly regarded industrial property manager and developer to identify an outstanding Assistant Health and Safety Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious H&S professional who is perhaps at a coordinator or advisor level, looking for a step up. The successful candidate will ideally be ambitious and career driven, with the goal to be promoted within the organization to step up to a Health and Safety Manager position.

Key responsibilities include:

• Keeping the online health and safety system (Safety Matters) and associated records updated, including the monitoring and timely close-out of actions.
• Conduct New-Starter inductions and monitor on-line training compliance.
• Assist with reactive health and safety incidents in the UK, providing support to the business in the management of risk.
• Support HR with Occupational Health and Wellbeing initiatives.

This person will ideally have 1-2 years experience in a Health and Safety environment and hold a NEBOSH qualification. The ideal candidate will also be career driven and ambitious, with the desire to grow in the organization and to develop their skills and career.
