Environmental, Legislation & Standards Officer

We are currently working with a globally renowned manufacturing company, who are looking to appoint an Environmental, Legislation & Standards Officer, who has the ability to influence and engage with internal and external stakeholders of all levels. The successful candidate will help to build and develop environmental compliance on site, while working with senior management to develop site-based strategy and objectives.

The Role:

• Maintain and manage site-based accreditation, while continuously improving developing management systems
• Monitor any new sector legislation and report to senior leadership on any effect this may have on the company
• Work with HSEQ Manager to ensure compliance across Health, Safety, Environment and Quality
• Liaise with external bodies and auditors where needed

The Candidate:

• Experience within a manufacturing or processing industry environment, would be preference however they are open to previous industry experience
• Knowledge of EHS management systems and implementing across site
• Relevant environmental focused qualification
• Strong personality, and career driven
