Construction Health & Safety Coordinator

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and dynamic Construction Health and Safety Coordinator to join a team working with a leading Bristol based property management company. As a member of the H&S team, you will provide specialist health and safety support for housing teams and services within planned construction works and responsive repairs and maintenance sectors.

As a Construction Health and Safety Coordinator, you will have a genuine passion for providing H&S advice and making a difference.

The Role:

• Respond to health and safety incidents and provide appropriate advice and guidance to managers
• Complete accident reports and perform accident and near miss investigations, identifying outcomes that can help drive continuous improvement
• Develop/collate pre-construction phase plans that will include contract documents, specifications, risk assessments, method statements and other relevant information
  
• Liaise with internal partners and external authorities in a constructive manner that promotes health and safety
  
• Attend safety group meetings and committees

The Candidate:

• NEBOSH Construction/General Certificate 
• Experience within the housing/property maintenance sector
• Personable and passionate individual
