HSEQ Manager

YOUR NEW COMPANY
A specialist services provider based in Essex is looking for a HSEQ Manager to join their growing business. The company provides unrivalled services within their market to companies within Utilities, Construction, Rail and Local Authorities. This SME organization is looking to expand and has an excellent culture towards HSEQ.

YOUR NEW ROLE
The HSEQ Manager will be getting involved in all aspects of the role. This is standalone position, but the company is organically growing, creating a potential opportunity to build a wider HSEQ team and also to be promoted within the business to Director level. You will be responsible for:

• Providing competent advice to the senior management team and staff regarding all Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality matters.
• Hosting the auditing of HSEQ and business processes to ensure compliance and applicable health, safety, environmental and quality management requirements.
• Supporting in the MORR (Management of Occupational Road Risk).
• Driving the philosophy of safety ownership to all levels of the company and promote a HSEQ culture.

WHAT YOU'LL GET IN RETURN
You'll be offered a salary of £40,000 + company car / allowance (after probation) + benefits.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
You will have to hold a NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent) as a minimum and 2+ years of relevant experience as a H&S Advisor or above. Ideally you will also have experience within the drainage or utilities sectors but the right candidate can also come outside of these industries if they have sound knowledge and experience on road traffic regulations, confined spaces, management systems, ISO 9001/14001/18001 audits.
