Job Details

A leading contractor who operate within the North West of England and across Wales is currently seeking a Health and Safety Advisor to be based from their Head Office in Lancashire. Our client delivers an extensive range of construction projects within the hotel and rental sector, student accommodation, retail and leisure. In addition the business is also responsible for providing a range of high-spec fit-out projects. 

 

The Role:

  • Reporting to the SHE Director, you will take responsible for 5-8 construction projects across the North West and South Wales region, ensuring outstanding Health and Safety performance is achieved
  • Work with pre-construction and design teams to ensure that Health and Safety is embedded before construction commences
  • Offer specialist advise to site teams ensuring safe systems of work
  • Contribute to the development of SHE procedures, communicating and engaging with site teams

The Candidate:

  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent - minimum
  • Experience working within a construction environment
  • Full UK Driving License
  • Self-starter, good communicator
