This role attracts a Market Supplement £7228

Within excess of 30,000 dwellings, the London Borough of Hackney has a statutory commitment to routinely and diligently inspect its assets for the purposes of ensuring Fire Safety and integrity. We seek a suitably qualified energetic team member to undertake this very important task, often engaging with our residents and contractors alike. We will expect very professional and in depth reporting the output of which will drive forward our FRA planned works, the importance of which cannot be understated.

We are looking to employ someone in the role of Risk Assessor.  The post holder will be required to deliver an excellent risk assessment service. Therefore the successful candidate will hold a minimum NEBOSH Fire Safety cert. (or equivalent) and have extensive knowledge of fire safety practice, demonstrable through relevant qualification and work experience.

Previous experience of working as a Fire Risk Assessor within social housing or the public sector is desirable. The ability to produce and analyse statistical data is a key requirement for this role.
