We are looking for a HSE Manager on an initial 6-month fixed term contract basis to support our Head of HSEQ.

Key Responsibilities of the role:

  • Support the Business as a whole, ensuring that our customers and those affected by our operations do so in a safe, healthy and environmentally responsible and acceptable manner.
  • Work alongside Senior Team members, providing regulatory guidance and functional leadership in the selected part of the business, supporting it to achieve improvements in HS&E performance, leading industry sector best practice forums, enhancing our reputation and ensuring HS&E compliance with both GPFS & GPL requirements
  • Working collaboratively with other key stakeholders across the business to achieve the defined group objectives
  • To ensure that clear and concise communications are given to the business
  • To stand in for the Head of HSEQ when required. (i.e. annual leave or any other valid reason)

Qualifications & Experience

  • Must hold NEBOSH National General Certificate as a minimum,
  • Must have experience working in a multi-site role
  • Ideally have experience in internal HSE auditing
  • Ideally have experience maintaining ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001
  • Ideally have experience with QHSE matters within workshops and/or operating a fleet of vehicles.
