Job Details
We are engaged with a large distribution company to appoint a Heath & Safety and Food Safety Officer. Working closely with the company operations team, this role presents the opportunity to create a totally new health & safety and food safety compliance audit system for the site.
The role:
- Carrying out food safety, fire safety and health & safety compliance audits across the site under your responsibility.
- Be the main point of contact for external audits - food standards, BRC etc.
- Ensuring all operatives are trained appropriately for their roles.
- Create a new, bespoke health & safety, food safety and fire safety management system for the site.
The candidate:
- NEBOSH General Certificate.
- Food Safety Level 3 or equivalent.
- HACCP Level 3.
- Previous experience in both a food safety and a health & safety role within a distribution or closely related environment.
