Salary £49,791 - £54,708
This is an exciting time to join Sheffield City Council with a real leadership focus on health, safety and wellbeing. In this role, you will oversee Health, Safety and Wellbeing to all corporate services and maintained schools to enable managers and Head Teachers to comply with appropriate Health and Safety requirements, council policies and procedures.
You will work with senior stakeholders, including Executive Directors and the Chief Executive Officer to help services reduce incidents and lost days and take action to improve employee health and wellbeing at work.
As a minimum, you will be a Graduate Member of IOSH and are ideally working towards CMIOSH, or you will have equivalent experience. In addition, you will need to have knowledge and experience of occupational health. A successful track record in developing and implementing strategy and proven ability to influence senior level Directors and external senior stakeholders is also essential.

Selection will be a 2-stage process over 2 days. The first stage technical interview will be on the 14th or 15th of December 2020. Applicants successful at the first stage will be invited to final interview on Monday 21st December 2020, all of these will be completed over video due to Covid -19.
