Job Details

We are working exclusively with a leading specialist chemical manufacturing organisation, who are looking to appoint an HSE Officer at their chemical processing site in Haverhill. You will be responsible for continuing to drive health, safety and environment standards forward across the site. A brilliant opportunity to join a company who have seen impressive growth over the past few years.

The Role:

  • Support and lead on various site HSE matters
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders across the site, promoting the development of a positive culture and best practice
  • Support the implementation of ISO 45001
  • Audit site-based management systems to ensure full compliance
  • Contribute to the implementation, monitoring and measurement of the HSE strategy

    • The Candidate:

  • Previous experience within an HSE role within a manufacturing environment, ideally within a chemical manufacturing environment
  • COMAH Experience is very desirable 
  • Ability to strongly influence various internal stakeholders
  • Experience / knowledge of ATEX, DSEAR, COSHH and implementing control measures within related environments
  • Experience / Knowledge of Environmental permits would be desirable 
  • Experience / Knowledge of ISO 14001, 18001 / 45001  
  • NEBOSH General Certificate
