Principal Designer

Do you have a design or construction related degree and want to move into a dedicated Principal Designer role? Well this role maybe of interest. This global construction consultancy is looking for a Principal Designer to join their existing team. Working on a range of CDM projects, across all sectors, you will be working on some of the most prestigious projects in and around the London and South East.

The role:

• Ensure projects comply with CDM 2015, this is through involvement throughout design and influencing the project team to eliminate risk through design
• Assist the client in carrying out their duties and enacting positive H&S management 
• Engaging with and support the design team
• Attending construction sites to complete H&S inspections and reporting to the client
• Engaging with the principal contractor to drive positive safety management

The candidate:

• Proven track record in delivering under the CDM regs 2015
• Experience in either construction site safety or design (Architecture, Engineering, Surveying etc.) 
• NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety
• Degree in a construction related subject
